For high accuracy and a higher level of working comfort DIMA designed the stencil printers SP-200. The stencil allows smaller openings than a screen and is therefore better suited towards fine pitch printing. The stencil printer is a heavy duty manually operated units based on a heavy aluminium frame with bearings to ensure exact printing results.
After inserting a printed circuit board in the stencil printer, you align the openings in your stencil with the pattern on the printed circuit board using the adjustment knobs for X,Y and rotation . You can adjust the height so that the stencil is just toughing the printed circuit board ( contact printing ). Now put some solder cream on the back side of the stencil and squeeze it over the stencil to the front of the printer using the squeegee. After removing the printed circuit board from the base plate the operation is completed.
The printer takes naked stencils without additional framing. Changing stencils is a matter of minutes.
The stencil printer can be transformed into a screen printer by loosening two screws that hold the stencil frame and then replacing it with a screen.
